This Windy City transplant is Washington DC’s newest socialite—and rightfully so. She is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Mwari Magazine, a lifestyle publication created exclusively for women of the African Diaspora aged 18-24. A mover and shaker in her right, Maci, who just graduated from college a few months ago, has also landed a lucrative position with one of Washington’s premiere social magazines. Believe me, if I could tell you which one, I would.
Nevertheless, Maci’s work keeps her on the Washington, DC social circuit. But you won’t find this pint sized beauty hanging from the rafters at Station 9 or fighting through the HUGE crowds at LOVE. You’ll find Maci and her entourage hanging out on rooftops, going for tea at the Park Hyatt, relaxing in the lavish Georgetown penthouses, Mate,Veritas, Indulj, the W Hotel, and frequenting other exclusive A-List events happening in the city.
With an entourage that includes Kelechi (The Guru), Megan (The Fashionista), Desiree (The Fabulous One), Adrienne (The Ivy), Tarrah (The Childhood Friend), Justin (The Conservative), one will more than likely catch this crew receiving the VIP treatment wherever they go.
