Jet Beauty of the Year, Vannette Tolbert, is a twenty-four year old DMV socialite hailing from Rockville, MD. Miss Vannette is no stranger to the front covers of magazines, calendars, and cat walks. As a DMV native, this ethnic beauty was crowned Miss Liberia of MD in 2004. After graduating from Frostburg State University in Western Maryland, where she studied Mass Communications with a concentration in PR, Vannette relocated to DC to work as the development manager of a non-profit organization.
